Chris and Friends - Workshops on Fly Casting

Thank you very much for organising this wonderful workshop.

After a short theoretical introduction on Friday evening, two days followed of training, exercises and practising our newly learnt skills on the water. I was very surprised how time was flying. We were a great group of pupils on very different casting levels. Therefore, I felt very comfortable about the almost individual supervision Christopher Rownes, Chris Lohner and you.

With all the hints and examples I could strongly improve my posture and landed my first fish. What an experience! Along the way we learnt a lot about fishing, knots, leaders, reels and rods. Moreover, you trained us so well, we are able know to go fishing ourselves. I am really impressed.

I am sure, this was not my last workshop with Springforelle. I am looking forward to 2011. I will certainly be with you.

The perfect organisation by Peer Doering-Arjes, the hotel Bräurup and the instructor team Chris Rownes and Chris Lohner in combination with the marvellous nature of national park Tauern made it an unforgettable experience.

It was certainly a challenge for Chris Rownes because I had never touched a fly rod before. Nevertheless, he managed within short time to infect me with the fly fishing virus and to teach me the most important casts.

I recommend everybody interested to book such a workshop.
